Light headed , blackouts, sweatting, felling hot then followed by cold feelings please help ....?
Answer:
This could be any number of things causing it but without running medical tests on you no one on here can say what is causing it. See your doc and get this checked out.
This could be about a million things - from something simple like electrolyte imbalance to something serious and potentially life threatening. Your best bet would be to go to a medical professional and be evaluated.
Lice problem?
i just recently got lice and i used a lice shampoo and then i used that special comb that gets rid of lice and i saw some live ones! i used that comb with hot water for 30 minutes and i stopped seeing them, then i vacuumed the room , got a new brush redid my sheets, gota new pillow cover, and sprayed disinfectant spray everywhere, is this enough? should i do more to make them completely go away because i have 8 people in my family and i dont want any of them to get it. what else should i do? should I sleep with like a towel on my head or something?

Make sure that any stuffed animals are put in a plastic bag in the garage for at least a month so they all die. Vacuum your mattress and carpets THOROUGHLY, and spray them down with that spray that comes with, or is sold next to, the lice shampoo. Also make sure to do the same to any other furniture in the house that you may have sat on. A towel won't really help because the bugs will just crawl from your head to the towel to the bed and start the whole thing over! Until you're sure they are gone just don't let anyone sit on your bed or anything, and try not to get too close to them. One last thing that you could try, if you can't get rid of them, is to dye your hair. The chemicals from the dye will kill them off right away. Good luck, I know how frustrating it can be!
Put conditioner on your hair, comb through. Then use the tooth comb to carefully comb through. The lice can't grip the hair or scalp because the conditioner makes it too slippery. You may not have any more lice in your hair but its best to fumigate your house by a pest control team just in case. I believe there is also shampoo that can add fluorescent dye so that remaining lice and nits will show under black light (I don't know were to get it unfortunately.)

Sorry to hear you're encountering this problem, unfortunately in "Merry Old England" they still don't have such a thing as daily showers which would probably get rid of the problem overall right off the bat...

Lexapro advice?
i normally take it at night
but yesterday i took it in the morning
along with my adderall xr.
i've only been on my two meds for two weeks now.
i felt completely funky yesterday.
-every time i stood up my ears started hurting
-i felt like i was going to pass out.
-right eye starting to get red
-really sweating after a 20 minute nap
-bad headache
-really tired
then today i thought i was better
so i showered

-dark yellow urine
-bad stomach cramps
of course when i tell my mother
she tells me i have the stomach flu

get off lexapro. seriously. i was on that **** and it made me feel worse than i did before i was on it. i would have really bad nightmares on that stuff. ive been off of it for about 3 months now and i feel a whole lot better.

Sounds like a cluster migraine attack. There shouldn't be an interaction between lexapro and Adderal. Check with your doctor or pharmacist. Do not stop the lexapro without consulting your doctor. Start taking it again at night and see if that corrects the problem. Good luck.

Levothyroxin?
I just started taking it today for hypothyroid and was wondering if others here are taking it. If so how long have you been taking it? Has it helped? Have you experienced any of the side-effects, if so how bad were they? I felt like throwing it back up as soon as it went down, is that normal?

There are no side effects to Levothyroxin but you will start to feel better. I took it for years but have recently been switched to Armour Thyroid.
Be sure you doctor is giving you the right medication because there are several out there that have T3 or T4 or combination thereof.
It is important to know what your are deficient in.
Do not eat soy products. It blocks thyroid medication and will make you even more ill. I had a terrible time and lost a lot of my hair because the doctors did not tell me not to eat soy and I was eating it to avoid symptoms of menopause

Lets have a big debate!! Do you think drug takers and alchoholics should be entitled to have there children?
I personally say no because alchoholics and junkies have no care about there children and let them live wit no quality in life at all shouldnt they just be taken to a home where they can have some quality of life and deserve things that they need instead of seeing there parents degrading themselves everyday.

Bizarrely, though taking hard drugs is considered the greater "sin", children born to heroin addicts can be successfully weaned form their addiction (though it must be a very unpleasant start to life).Children born to alcoholics are damaged for life. I know if things get extremely bad the children will be removed, but how would it work that children are removed from their parents? Are you talking out and out sterilization or are you talking forceful removal? Or a combination of both? You try and you try, and meet some success, but one visit to the parent and it is back to the drawing board.

At the same time, upper income Americans are being given tax breaks that amount to hundreds of millions of dollars. What are the priorities here?

I would recommend taking a multi vitamin tablet, make sure it is high in all the viatmin B's as these are extremely beneficial in giving you more energy.Also rest as much as you can and try not to exert yourself as this condition could turn into chronic fatigue if you over do it. Left side tonsil swollen for 4 months?
am a 37 yares old , my left side tonsil is swollen since dec 2 /05,i seen my doc ,took antibiotic 4 10 day then prednison 4 other 10 days,nothing changed,i have also seen a nek dok, was told my trot is normal, but i feel like there is something in my throt, any sugestions?

Go to a different doctor - ear/nose/throat specialist. Tonsils don't have much of a function that anyone knows of - the infections are miserable and often go into secondary infections i.e. strep throat, mono, etc. They usually need to come out of they are infected repeatedly. I can see where they other doctor may have been trying hard to avoid the surgery - the older you are when you have the surgery, the harder/riskier it is.

I have a friend who just very recently got a tonsilectomy (removal of tonsils, BTW I don't think that's how you spell it) because she had some kind of growth on her right tonsil. It seems to have solved the problem.

I can see where they other doctor may have been trying hard to avoid the surgery - the older you are when you have the surgery, the harder/riskier it is.

I have a friend who just very recently got a tonsilectomy (removal of tonsils, BTW I don't think that's how you spell it) because she had some kind of growth on her right tonsil. It seems to have solved the problem.
