Kaiser permanente or aetna?

I am eligible for health coverage at work and dont know which one to choose as my care provider
Answer:
I have an Aetna OpenChoice PPO for my health coverage and over the past few months have been using it a lot. They are pretty easy to work with. They send bills out in a timely manner and aren't really concerned with referrals. Plus, you can check all your statements/claims online whenever you want. I'd recommend finding a group of doctors or a hospital near you and finding out what kind of coverage they accept. Aetna is a flexible and widely used service, so there shouldn't be any problems for you. Just make sure to read over everything your human resources department and the medical company themselves provides for you and ask questions about deductibles and co-pays if you don't understand. The customer service folks are helpful. Good luck and I hope this helped.
If those are your only choices choose death. Well perhaps that is a little too stark. My experience with Kaiser is they are great if you do not need medical care. If you ar hurt you will sit in pain a long time to see a doctor and even then you will probably not see a doctor.

Aetna probably will be a PPO (you must choose your doctor from preferred providers) Some may be good and some not so good.

If you have a doctor that you like and trust ask Him/her if they work with Aetna. If so use Aetna. If not them my first response is probably your real best choice.
