I took castor oil at 2:00 PM yeasterday and its now 8:30 AM and nothing happened. I took 2 tbsp and nothing. How long does it take to work. It should have done something right.

yeah - should have worked by now..i find a cup of senna tea before bed gets me on the toilet 1st thing in the am - cheap at the drug/health food store - all natural...but not safe to take if you're pregnant
Drink some warm water. You can never tell when that stuff is going to work. Some people take it at 9pm and it doesn't work until 9am.
Depends on your last bowel movement. Sometimes if you have a lazy bowel it may not work then. Questions: Is constipation a problem with you? Do you drink enough liquids? Before trying anything over the counter try a tall glass of prune juice.
